Join us to explore the Channel Islands, with their exquisite coastlines, pretty harbours and shady country lanes. Each Island has a unique character, and our tour takes you to Guernsey, Jersey, Herm and Sark. Spring is a lovely time to visit, with feasts of wildflowers, gorse clad cliffs and lush green fields. In order to maximise your time in the Channel Islands we shall be travelling by air from either Southampton or Gatwick, with a flight time of around an hour. *Subject to a minimum of 25 passengers the holiday will be accompanied by a Roadmark Travel Tour Manager.

British citizens do not require a passport to travel to the Channel Islands. However, you will be required to produce valid Photo ID at check-in. A list of acceptable forms of ID will be provided nearer the departure date. A passport will be required if you intend to book the optional day trip to France Your departure airport and flight times will be provided once the airlines have released their 2017 schedules.


Your Holiday Hotel

The Peninsula Hotel, Guernsey. A three-star hotel set in its own grounds in a prominent sea front position at Vale, overlooking two fishing bays. A lift serves all the ensuite bedrooms, which have satellite television, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast and high quality dinners. A regular bus service connects the Hotel with Guernsey’s main town of St. Peter Port.

The Merton Hotel, Jersey. The Merton is a three-star superior hotel with 286 bedrooms, located in St. Saviour. Buffet breakfast and a carvery dinner are served in the Belvedere Restaurant and, for a supplement, guests can dine in the Hotel Brasserie. Bedrooms have private facilities, television, radio, tea and coffee tray, hairdryer, telephone and free Wi-Fi. There is a lift to all floors. The Merton has the best leisure facilities of any hotel in Jersey, with a fabulous pool andleisure club, fitness centre and games area.

(DAY 1) Wednesday 26th April

A taxi will pick you up from your home and bring you to the coach. We drive to either Gatwick or Southampton Airport for a scheduled flight to Guernsey. On arrival an Island coach will transfer you to the Peninsula Hotel in Vale for a three-night stay with dinner, bed and breakfast. Guernsey is steeped in wartime history and has a labyrinth of fortifications. This afternoon you can begin exploring the beautiful Island.

(DAY 2) Thursday 27th April

This morning is at leisure, followed by an afternoon excursion to the neighbouring island of Herm. Here there are no cars and no pressure, in order to preserve the island’s timeless and pristine natural environment.

(DAY 3) Friday 28th April

A full day excursion by ferry to Sark. Transfers by tractor-train are provided from the harbour to the village centre. This sleepy little island has no cars, just bicycles and horse drawn carts. We include a carriage ride around the island, with stops to enjoy the beautiful coastal views and La Seigneurie Gardens (admission not included).

(DAY 4) Saturday 29th April

Ferry crossing to Jerseyand transfer to the Merton Hotel in the Island’s capital of St Helier. Time to relax, take a stroll in Howard Davis Park, and enjoy the leisure facilities before dinner.

(DAY 5) Sunday 30th April

A full day ‘Round the Island’ excursionincludes the beautiful bays of St.Brelade’s and St. Ouen’s, the Corbiere Lighthouse and charming harbour village of St.Aubin’s. We will also visit Jersey Pearl who have been creating beautiful jewellery for thirty years, and where discount vouchers will be provided.

(DAY 6) Monday 1st May

A day to spend as you choose. Stroll through St. Helierwhere shopping is VAT-free, or take a local bus to one of the Island’s many attractions. These include the world-famous Durrell Wildlife Park, and the fascinating War Tunnels that tell the story of Jersey’s occupation during WWII. You can takethe high-speed ferry to St. Malo in Brittany in a little over one hour, but remember to bring your passport if you plan to book this optional day out.

(DAY 7) Tuesday 2nd May

We transfer to the airport for our return flight. A Roadmark coach will be waiting and one of our taxis will return you to your door, with happy memories of your holiday to the Channel Islands.
