Overview
We make our way to Wiltshire, following the scenic A342 through delightful countryside with views across the Vale of Pewsey. The historic market town of Devizes provides the ideal place for a lunch stop. The Market Place hosts cafes, restaurants, pubs, shops and the indoor market. The other attractions of Devizes include The Wiltshire Heritage Museum, Wadworth Brewery Centre and the pretty Kennet & Avon Canal. On the return journey we travel over Salisbury Plain, much of which is used for military training by the Ministry of Defence.
