THIS EXCURSION IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE

Overview

Britain’s largest piece of art, the ArcelMittal Orbit was built for the 2012 Olympics and stands 376 feet over what is now the Queen Elizabeth Park. Views of up to 20 miles are possible from the observation deck and afterwards, on your return to ground level, a 2-course lunch will be served in the adjacent Podium Bar & Kitchen. In the afternoon you will have free time to explore the park on foot or on one of the guided boat tours or perhaps take a tour of the former Olympic Stadium (cost of all other attractions not included). The Westfield Shopping Centre is also close-by.

Normal descent from the Orbit is by lift, although for those feeling fit there are 455 stairs or, for the brave, you may ride the world’s longest tunnel slide that spirals its way to the ground, subject to availability and additional cost – please enquire at time of booking.
