Stonor Park & Gardens
Tuesday 9th May 2017
After a lunch visit to the riverside town of Henley on Thames we take the coach onwards a few miles to Stonor. Nestled in the rolling Oxfordshire countryside and home to the Stonor family for over 850 years, Stonor Park is one of the oldest family homes still lived in today. Highlights include the grand Gothic revival hall, atmospheric 17th century library and the dramatic long gallery opening on to beautiful Italianate gardens, carrying on through to the old Kitchen and Arboretum. The lush parkland of Stonor is set in a dramatic, sweeping valley deep within the heart of the Chiltern Hills.
Included in the price, a delicious cream tea will be served in The Pantry café located in the 13th Century Hall.
