Pocahontas Cruise and Lunch
Wednesday 30th May 2018
This is still one of Roadmark’s most popular excursions and we are pleased to offer it again in 2018. The MV Princess Pocahontas is operated by Freemen of the River Thames who have spent their working lives on this truly historic waterway. The crew’s knowledge of the Thames and its riverside areas will provide you with a fascinating and rewarding trip. We join Pocahontas in Gravesend and travel upriver passing Tilbury Docks, under the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge and through the remarkable engineering feat of the Thames Barrier. You will see Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament before the boat turns and heads downstream. Disembark at Greenwich where there will be time for tea before rejoining the coach for the homeward journey. The boat has a fully-stocked bar on board, and we include a light buffet lunch during the cruise.
We are also running this excursion on Saturday 1st September with alternative pick up points.
