On this trip we explore the Hoo Peninsular in Kent in the company of a knowledgeable Blue Badge Guide. After a stop for morning coffee and biscuits we explore a mosaic of chalk downs, vast vistas of marsh and estuary and we stop to visit the church where Dickens set scenes from Great Expectations. We stop for a tasty chicken lunch in a local pub (drinks and desserts can be purchased on the day). In the afternoon we visit Rochester where you will see the castle and cathedral and have time to browse the Victorian High Street before we set off for home.
