Overview

Glastonbury has a past steeped in faith and legend.  The town is famous for its great abbey, of which only a few fragments remain. Glastonbury Tor rises above the area and is said to be Avalon, the last resting place of King Arthur. After time for lunch and a look around we transfer to Clark’s Village in nearby Street. Built on the site of the old Clark’s shoe factory the village is home to over 90 outlets selling a range of items including fashion, footware, cookware and food and drink. We plan to allow approximately 2 hours at Clark’s but if you wish you may spend the whole day there.
