Overview

Canterbury is a fascinating place to visit. The long cathedral that dominates the city is the Mother Church of Anglicans throughout the world. It dates from Norman times and in the Middle Ages was the destination of countless pilgrims. There will be plenty of time to explore the Cathedral, the narrow streets and modern shopping area. Canterbury Tales is a unique recreation of medieval England and the city’s literary connections or you may prefer to take a boat trip on the Great Stour.
