Overview

Canterbury is a fascinating place to visit. The long cathedral that dominates the city is the Mother Church of Anglicans throughout the world. It dates from Norman times and in the Middle Ages was the destination of countless pilgrims. There will be plenty of time to explore the Cathedral, the narrow streets and modern shopping area or perhaps visit Canterbury Tales, which presents Chaucer’s famous tales in an authentic and engaging way. There are boat trips normally available on the River Stour, departing from Kings Bridge.
