Overview

We travel to the historic market town of Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.  The market place is dominated by St Edmundsbury Cathedral, built on the site of a former Abbey dating back to 869. In the grounds see the ambitious recreation of the Cathedral in the grounds.  The Moyse’s Hall Museum is housed in the second oldest building in England and tells the story of Bury’s past.  There are plenty of opportunities for shopping from High Street stores to a host of small independent and individual shops. You will also find a wide range of places to eat and drink within the town.
