A Thames Cruise from Marlow to Henley
Wednesday 18th July 2018
We make our way to the picturesque town of Marlow, located on the banks of the River Thames. There will be time to explore the town and find some lunch before joining one of Salter’s Steamers boats for a cruise upstream to the town of Henley, famous for its annual regatta. This stretch of the Thames offers some particularly attractive scenery as you sail past Bisham Abbey, Medmenham Abbey, Culham Court, Fawley Court and part of the Royal Regatta course before arriving in Henley where there will be time to purchase tea before we return home. The boat has a small bar serving hot and cold drinks and light snacks.
