NEW: A Lunch Cruise on the Kennet & Avon Canal
by Horse Drawn Boat
Friday 26th May 2017
The Kennet & Avon Canal was built to connect Bristol and London via the Rivers Avon, Kennet and Thames and, following years of disuse and much restoration work was re-opened in 1990. Today’s cruise departs from the village of Kintbury. The horse-drawn Kennet Valley will take you on a relaxing journey through the Berkshire countryside during which you will be served a lunch of sandwiches with a variety of fillings followed by sponge cake and a cup of tea.
